The words “bitter ex wife” are very telling. People are bitter because they have been wronged.

Some people are bitter because they can't get what they want, with "being wronged" having nothing to do with it (except in their minds). The simple fact is that bitter wife #2 fooled around with Newt when he was married to wife #1, and she's bitter because Newt fooled around with wife #3 while married to her. Sounds a lot like "what goes around, comes around" to me.

That all said, we are not having primaries to determine who is the most moral person in the country, merely who is the best person to be the Presidential nominee for one of the parties. My personal view is that Newt, with all of his faults (many self-admitted, showing that he at least has some humility, unlike the certain nominee of the other party), is the best person to oppose Obama. He while figuratively tear Obama apart in debates, and if the pResident fails to agree to debates then Newt will tear him apart for being a wimpy little chicken. Newt has a vision about where we've been and where we should be going that he can actually explain - unlike many past Republican nominees, unlike a couple of his opponents and very much unlike the pResident. Romney will be savaged, and will respond in the same way that McCain did, and that he himself did on Tuesday night - like a deer in the headlights. Romney might well be a supremely effective administrator, but he's no leader. Gingrich is a leader, and this country is starved for leadership from someone who shares traditional American values. I like Santorum a lot, but wish he'd follow Perry's (almost certain at this point) lead and remove himself gracefully from the race and endorse Newt - both in the interest of the Party and of the entire country, seeing as how we MUST, MUST, MUST defeat Obama.

Everyone has had bad things happen to them in life. Everyone has been wronged by somebody else, some worse than others or maybe more publicly than others, but to the individual it's still a wrong. People are bitter because they choose to allow the bad things that happened to consume them and destroy their opportunity for healing. If she's bitter, it's her fault, not Newt's. People don't have to be defined by the bad things that happen to them. If they are, it's because they choose to be.
