OTOH, we have plenty of people on FR, and conservatives in general, who don’t wait around for someone in authority to solve their problems. The people on the other flights thought it was just a typical hijacking and they’d be landing in a foreign country where they’d wait for demands to be met and they’d be free. Sort of like lawyers telling us we have to retreat to the furthest room in our homes before we can defend ourselves against home invaders. I grieve for those who perished in the buildings and on those flights but passengers on 93 made the right call. Maybe Walberg really feels that he could have convinced the others to take over the plane, too. There was a martial arts expert on the Dulles flight. I always wondered about that.
You are right. Hindsight being 20/20. A term usually used with sarcasm in response to criticism of one’s decision, implying that the critic is unfairly judging the wisdom of the decision in light of information that was not available when the decision was made. Some will boast that had I been there, the results would have been different. Possibly, but probably not. The jig is up, most passengers now, will do whatever it takes, to not be victims. And the first rule is never, never, never, never trust a muslim!!!
