She can’t stand Romney, and not just because of Romneycare, because its Romney’s goons that were on the McCain campaign that constantly trashed her

I am convinced she was planning to run to stop Romney.. then Perry jumped in.. and she thought he would be able to stop Romney so she decided not to get in...

*sigh*

I am betting at this point she wishes she had run.

Ok, I listened to the video. Heard what she said and what she did not say. (For example, when Sean mentioned Todd Palin endorsing Newt, Sarah did not deny it or correct it.)

It sounds to me like she’s saying that Santorum, at the very least, ought to “take one for the team” and withdraw, and support Newt. She did not SAY that, but that’s what I read from the “take one for the team” comment, plus the way her voice rose when she first mentioned Santorum — indicating she doesn’t take him as seriously as the others, in terms of presidential material.

She is, in my interpretation, looking down the road and saying that eventually the anti-Romneys had better be ONE anti-Romney. She doesn’t want Romney to win. She’s being very, very careful and she’s tense, not liking how she has to parse this so meticulously. And she did say that she would go with Newt right now, if she were in SC. She was very careful to frame it as a right-this-moment call, but she likes Newt.

So do I! :)
