Mabass is more like it...
He owes an apology to the family of this KIA Marine for grandstanding and distracting from what should have been a ceremony centered around and honoring deceased Lance Cpl. Hogan's heroism. That Marine layed down his life for his Brothers.
What has Mabass ever done for anyone?!

A true hero:
“...Lance Cpl. Donald J. Hogan, 20, was doing a foot patrol near some cornfields in Afghanistans Helmand province Aug. 26, 2009, when he spotted a kite string strung along the road. Somehow sensing the string connected to an improvised explosive device, Hogan threw his body onto a nearby Marine, acting without hesitation, according to the Navy Cross citation.
Hogan then yelled at others in their squad to take cover. But the IED detonated, killing the young man from San Clemente, Calif., a member of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, at Camp Pendleton.
This desperate attempt to warn the rest of the patrol bought the remaining Marines valuable seconds to begin moving away from the improvised explosive device before it detonated, the citation cites. Hogans extreme act of selflessness saved a Marines life and allowed the rest of the squad to avoid the full brunt of the fragmentation from the IED...”

I have one thing to say to the Marine sniper squad, “Move over, I have a full bladder”!

It was absolutely inappropriate for the secretary to mention the Marine incident. Obama will ignore this faux pas because it belittles the military. We won't hear of this again.

Ray Mabus is an assclown!
How dare he play politics during a ceremony to honor a families dead!
If it had been my family member and I was there I would have punched the moron!

Who was the fool who photographed the event and released it?

I absolutely loved Rick Perry’s defense of those Marines. Everyone else on that stage should have piped up and said the same thing—except Paul—I’m sure he would have compared it to the Chinese coming over here and urinating on some Americans.

I hope those followers of the "religion of peace" who were pee'ed on by the Marines were those who killed Lance Cpl. Hogan. And, I hope those marines had ham or pork chops in their MRE's before they pee'ed, so the was some pork in their systems.
And, I think all troops should carry an obama mask and some bacon fat in their packs to rub all over future KIA's and wounded Muslim killers. And, a good camera in each unit, so the obama-masked troops would not be recognized, when the photo's make it to the Internet..

This makes it look like the enemy blowing apart one of our guys isn't nearly as offensive to Mabass, Obama & Co. Mabus has some truly screwed up priorities.
It seems like Mabus’ goal in appearing wasn't to award the Navy Cross posthumously to Lance Cpl. Hogan and the Hogan family. He made the trip to take a dig at the Marines in a very public setting, at one of the most sacrosanct and honorable ceremony's in American military history. Classless and lower than low.

Nothing will surprise me about Mabus after he named a Navy ship for the corrupt dirtbag Murtha. Birds of a feather.

Mabus's remarks followed a ceremony in which he awarded the Navy Cross...
Misleading headline, but does anybody bother to read the article before making stupid comments anymore???

Opportunistic talking point of a political hack or the declaration of a military leader?
Is that a rhetorical question?

Actual headline at link:
MILITARY: Navy secretary addresses sniper-squad incident
I can’t stand Mabus, but according to the article, his remarks were made after the ceremony, not during it.
