He wants the border sealed, drug cartels killed off and NO amnesty.
Gov. Perry and Texas have had to realistically deal with the mess wrought on border states by Federal action and inaction. There is no more we can do to alleviate the problem with the Fed's foot on our neck.
Every request is met with silence, scorn or a bandaid. Every legal challenge is met with the US Attorney Gen. and Federal Courts tying the state up in court. Federal immigration laws on the books are ignored and/or become a financial burden on the state and businesses.
Currently our redistricting map here in Texas is tied up in the Supreme Court (this will bump Texas out of the Super Tuesday vote) and our Photo Voter ID Bill is sitting on Eric Holder's desk, awaiting his approval.

Let's start by "telling the truth" about Perry's record on the issue. How has Perry "realistically deal{t}" with the invasion and occupation of America?
- Perry championed the Trans-Texas Corridor (NAFTA Superhighway).
- Perry has called a border fence "nonsense."
- Perry would not support a version of Arizonas SB 1070 for Texas.
- Perry opposes E-Verify.
- Perry championed the Dream Act.
And it has been these positions that have generated the substantial donations, from Vichy businesses benefiting from the sellout of American sovereignty, that have kept his current campaign for the GOP presidential nomination alive - when it has been so lacking in popular support.
Perry's idea of dealing with the invasion and occupation of America is to collaborate with its leaders - in exchange for photo-ops he believes will ingratiate him with Hispanic voters.
