If Mitt is increasing his lead, it can’t be because any one of the conservatives in the race hasn’t dropped out. It’s logically impossible.
The only explanation for it is that Obama is right. Americans want socialism. Constitutionalists, despite what people say, are part of a shrinking minority.
Doesn’t matter at all who does or doesn’t drop out. If Mitt Romney can get over 30 % of South Carolinians to vote for him, then we are all totally screwed. Obscenely, nastily, violently screwed. For good. Get used to the feeling folks, you are going to be feeling it for at least another 20 to 30 years, if it EVER ends.
Obama, welcome to the White House. By the way, take the Supreme Court too while you’re at it. We don’t care. We’re just a bunch of spineless wimps who don’t mean a word we say. Were all words, no action.
We deserve what we get, and we WILL be getting it.
BOHICA, folks!
The only explanation for it is that Obama is right.
***Another explanation is that polls can’t be trusted.
There is something to be said for the fact that the American people seem to want socialism. Many old people want their Medicare/SS and many young people want free college education, free health care, etc. But there is also something to be said for the fact the media didn’t vet Obama and hasn’t vetted Romney. The “conservative” media is even more in the tank for Romney than the liberal media was for Obama. When the opposing candidates get slimed in a massive media pile-on and almost nothing bad gets said about the winning candidate, it’s hard to see how the elections could turn out any differently. People should investigate the candidates on their own, but we can’t expect everyone to find a political forum like this and spend hours on it every week, which is what it took to get the truth about Obama and takes to get the truth about Romney.
