I watched that interview and you have explained it very well. I think she is having reservations to endorse Romney because she knows he is not a conservative. I think her sending Todd out for Newt was not by accident. I am praying that she will help Newt. She did last week when no one else was there for him which tells me a lot. Take care and thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.
Sorry for the double posts.
And you know, I have been working very hard for Newt as much as I can anyway, and a lot of people I know, who are young, who aren’t dems, aren’t republicans, really aren’t anything, like him very very much, because he is so quirky and so smart, I think. And those people are the ones, who nobody is seeing, and who would make a difference for Newt in the general. I think Sarah knows she has to be careful to not alienate the apolitical people, who seem to like Newt, or the moderates and undecideds he will need.
I saw this remarkable thing on Scarborough’s show, when they were doing their usual prattle against the antiromney ads last week, and Newt came on, did this very reasoned and balanced discourse on why it WAS important to check out romney at bain. He answered their attacks, and just took the wind out of their sails... they were actually stunned and quiet. There are a lot of people who haven’t heard him speak even once yet... I believe he will win them over, if he can just get the opportunity. People are impressed by Newt and depressed by Obama...
