Did you know that many of the talk radio hosts that you listen to on a regular basis use the same company to broadcast their shows? Clear Channel boasts names like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and even Coast to Coast AM!
Michael Savage is TRN, but is on a lot of Clear Channel stations.
Clear Channel is the largest owner of radio stations in the United State [...]
Did you know that Clear Channel is owned (in large part) by Bain Capital?
On Friday, November 17, 2006, Clear Channel announced that it was going private and selling off almost one-third of its radio assets... The buyers, led by Bain Capital Partners and Thomas H. Lee Partners, agreed to pay $26.7 billion for the company.
Bain Capital was founded by Mitt Romney. Mitt is retired now, but he still profits from Bain Capital according to the New York Times.
Clear Channel Communications is a privately owned company controlled by the private equity companies Bain Capital Partners LLC and Thomas H. Lee Partners LP. Clear Channel was sold for $18.7 billion in cash plus the assumption of $8 billion in debt. The transaction closed on July 24, 2008. The operating company which technically owns Clear Channel is called CC Media Holdings, Inc.
Think about that the next time you're flipping channels on the radio and realize that Rush Limbaugh calls the candidates "Romney", "Non-Romney", and "Loony"...
Why do these other candidates get called "Non-Romney"?
Do you think you'll be hearing about this story in most of the media sources you frequent?
Then it's up to you to get the word out. (Especially since by sharing tips like this I help cement that I won't ever become one of those big names in talk radio)

The liberals said the same thing about Mitt and Clear Channel in 2008.
Others, too:

“Some suggest that the fact that Bain Capital owns a major stake in Clear Channel is on Sean’s network, maybe there’s a correlation. I don’t know.”
The Sean he was referring to had to be none other than Sean Hannity, America’s number-two talk radio host behind Rush Limbaugh.
Lots of shows have been “playing the Romney Bashing ad from http://www.winningourfuture.com/". There’s a difference in combining the ad with an honest exploration of the Romney/Bain business history vs as a tool to dishonestly paint those that question that relationship as “anti-Capitalist”.
The issue is on air talent towing the corporate line. We all know it happens. NBC ignoring GE stories anyone?
I meant “Newt” knows how to fight and win. Thanks for the correction Linda, the only one on TV I can watch is Gretta, the rest of them sold out.
Do KNOW that Carl Forti is Romney’s Rove and that Forti was groomed by Rove. Forti also connections to Bain.
Did he?

Your right, Newt is the best at fighting to win. Mark Levin is hasn’t sold his soul like the others.
When did he sell?

Interesting thought.
Yes I think so. That would also explain why Handel was a total, flaming *biotch* in every sense of the word toward Sarah Palin from day one. Marching orders... just like all the other Mittens.
I didn’t know Handel is a Romneybot, because I don’t listen to his show anymore.
I entirely stopped listening to his show. My radio turns off each morning, as soon as Noory is over. Because of his hate (yes hate) against Sarah Palin. He’s also a Christian-hater, it would seem.
Just an unpleasant, self-absorbed waste of carbon.
The guy is a repulsive ass, and a boor. You should try finding a better online radio station than KFI in the morning.
I did, and it’s a far better way to start each morning. Trust me, just about any morning show is a better way to start any morning, than that jerk.
Turn the dial.
Trust me on this.
Is that old windbag still on the air ?
See post 185.
Bullcrap. Romney is running on his record of owning Bain Capital. Is that not to be vetted? Is it hands off?
Bain Capital Owns Clear Channel (Limbaugh,Hannity, Beck, Savage, Etc.)
LOL. Haven’t heard that one for a while.
Vultures say..... hands off!!
You are correct! Old but relevant: Bain part-owner Clear Channel (April 2007!)
Just FYI.
Another poster stated that if he had owned a string of abortion mills, is it anti-capitalist to say anything bad about it? To investigate it? Unbelievable!
Long live Jim Robinson, and long live his family. I hope all praying FReepers remember them in their daily send-ups to the Almighty.
” And NO host has been harder on Mitt Romney - even using the beloved FReeper name ‘Mittens’ one time -than Mark Levin.”
You got that right! I just got a smart phone, so i have started listening to his archives. He freely admits that if Romney gets the nomination, then he would vote for Romney. However, who would Romney be?
