Hey, Good Morning, My Friends.

If you haven't seen this video, a Q & A of Newt, (followed by Santorum) at a S.C. High School, then pour yourself another cup of coffee...grab the nearest and dearest person or animal next to you to sit close, and watch this:

http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/303686-1

We should post this again and again until the message resonates.

Newt speaks for around 33 minutes. In that time, not one vocalized pause when he's answering the question. No prepared text. NO TELEPROMPTOR.

AS it's been so many many times for those of us here, HIs message is clear, focused and articulates what all of us believe.

Let me repeat, "His message is clear, focused and articulates what ALL of us her on FR believe."

He takes only a handful of questions, but each is provocative and far ranging in what it allows him to say.

Think about the other candidates when you listen to Newt's answers. No one else can answer this way. No presidential candidate in my lifetime has this much command of the big picture.

FRIENDS EVERY TIME NEWT SPEAKS IT'S A TEACHING MOMENT.

Just when you think there is nothing more interesting he can say or for us to learn by, he takes us back to Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln and FDR on checks and balancing of our judiciary, then brings it all into the present.

BUT IT'S NOT UNTIL WE GET TO AROUND 23 MINUTES OR SO INTO THE TAPE, WHEN THE QUESTION IS ASKED OF HIM..."IN YOUR OPINION, DESCRIBE FOR US YOUR IDEA OF THE AMERICAN DREAM."

I HAD TEARS STREAMING DOWN MY FACE LISTENING TO HIS RESPONSE, AND THIS HASN'T BEEN THE FIRST TIME.

Please, Folks, I know that you may have deep support for Rick Santorum, Perry...(maybe even resolving yourself to Romney), but PLEASE give this man a chance.

PLEASE before you dismiss him for this reason or that reason...listen to his message. What he says, the solutions he gives...involves ALL Americans, not just the right...ALL of us.

IN FACT, WHAT HE SAYS CAN UNITE THE WHOLE WORLD.

Those of you here who supported Newt early on but now have doubts about him, GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE TO WIN YOU OVER.

In my heart, I cannot believe that people like Ann Coulter, Rush, Hannity etc. are not seeing this. What Newt says MUST ring in their hearts too. Why aren't they backing him? WHY??????

Sarah, if you're out there...PLEASE WATCH THIS AND GET ON BOARD FOR NEWT.

FELLOW FREEPERS PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS AND PASS IT ON.

The question is: Can he govern a great nation?

Well, here's what Jim Thompson had to say about it on a different thread Sunday night:

"I’ve done some researching on Gingrich since November and have changed my mind. His accomplishments as congressman and speaker are very real and very conservative. His actual record of conservative accomplishments in office far outweigh some of the dumber stuff he’s said and done since leaving office, ie, the Pelosi thing for example. And he’s admitted they were dumb ideas.

I’ve studied the goals he’s laid out on his website (lower taxes for example: http://www.newt.org/news/lets-bump-plans-comparison-gingrich-and-romneys-tax-plans ) and believe he’s after the same radical cutting of government that we the tea party people are looking for.

He’s a veteran of the Reagan Revolution of the 80’s and leader of the successful Republican Revolution of the 90’s and believe he can be the successful leader of the Tea Party Revolution now. He wants to drastically reduce taxes, reduce government, privatize social security and medicare, neuter the fed and the epa and close down or return as much of the unconstitutional federal government programs to the states and people as possible. And that also includes immediately repealing ObamaCare, repealing Dodd-Frank, repealing Sarbanes-Oxley, firing of all Obama’s czars and dismantling his Marxist government also directly challenging the activist judiciary.

Romney simply wants to trim around the edges and rearrange the deck chairs and there’s no way in hell that he will fight the judiciary or the libs or for our conservative causes. RomneyCare = ObamaCare. Romney appoints liberal judges and has a record of rolling over for them.

I also like Perry. He has warts, but they all do. Unfortunately, Perry shot himself in the foot and never recovered.

Santorum is a good conservative, but I just like Gingrich’s more radical ideas for cutting government better and the fact that he’s been a successful revolutionary leader before.

Gingrich led the effort to take control of the congress after the democrats had held it for forty years and then as speaker cut taxes, cut spending, cut government, blocked Clinton’s socialized healthcare attempt, reduced unemployment, cut the deficit and balanced the federal budget four years running. We could use some of this radical talent right now!!"

Right on, Jim Robinson, and GODSPEED NEWT GINGRICH.

(I'm such a bad dog ... still playing hookey ....)

That would be because Newt is a teacher by profession. However, his teaching abilities do not translate to leadership abilities. (See: Lecturer Baraq Obama)

See Jim Robinson's take in my post #23 above.
