At least the Reverend Wright had enough introspection to label himself “Uncle Wackadoodle in the family attic”.
Ron Paul is a senile nutjob and his Jonestown style followers are known to be dangerous. And all some can think to say on FR is “every candidacy has its kooks”.
“He empathizes with Iran when one of their scientists who is helping make a nuclear weapon is killed, but blames America when terrorists kill thousands of Americans.”
That’s Paul in a nutshell. A BIG nutshell.
If Iran gets a nuke and they decide to block Hormuz, what does dear Dr. Paul suggest then?
Some people just like to say provocative things for the sake of seeming more enlightened, or intelligent or perceptive. Just because a statement is provocative does not mean it is not asinine. The last I looked, the U.S. was not threatening a neighboring to wipe a neighboring state off the map. If Americans treated Mexicans the way Iran would like to treat Jews, the entire population of Mexico would be living in Central America (instead of Los Angeles) and the U.S. would have 31 addditional, and now English speaking, states.
I haven't seen any of those, thank goodness. And if a Mod had I'd think that paulite cultist would get Zotted pdq. Even calling Ron Paul a "Republican candidate" is a farce. He's a proud, self-avowed Libertarian, and should running for that party's nomination, not the GOP's. The goof-ball shouldn't even be allowed on a stage with the Republicans. And ditto2 for his name being on any Republican Primary Election Ballots.
But the leftist MSM loves him because he makes all Republicans in general and Conservatives in specific look like dangerous lunatics. So instead of debating GOP issues, the other candidates have to waste time responding to his outlandish (Libertarian) comments. IMO the other 'real GOP candidates' should have refused from day one to appear in any debate that included the batsheet crazy Ron Paul.
????????
Uh . . .
WHAT!?!?!
someone get the net. the lunatic go loose again
First. I will NOT vote for Mr. Paul. Second though here is an article about endorsements by SC conservatives. They were talking about this on Faux News this morning.

While we have in our area a not for public consumption group that has jumped behind a fellow that has a Super PAC that is blasting true capitalism in that the weak companies are taken over by the more fiscally sound companies and either made profitable or sold off in pieces, we have rumors (at this point) that one of the most Constitutionally sound Senators in the State (SC) will be coming out and endorsing the only true Conservative choice in the Republican race in 2012 Dr. Ron Paul.
Tom Davis
In the next few days, Im going to announce support for the one candidate in the race for president who has consistently stood for taxpayers- one who has a plan to balance the budget RIGHT NOW.

Senator Davis has been a real T.E.A. (Taxed Enough Already) champion in the Great State of South Carolina since heading to Columbia. He has been a real voice of reason in the banter of against growing the government. Take for example the resent I-95 Corridor Authority Act VETO by Governor Haley. Senator Davis was one of the ten that stood up against another unelected appointed group taking over the fiscal development of the region surrounding the I-95 highway running through South Carolina.....

I believe Paul and his supporters are willfully overlooking why Israel exists and all the reasons we must remain its ally. They are not at all interested in the facts, which makes them willfully insensitive or obtuse in action and not just in appearance. Otherwise, I think we agree that they are incredibly reckless about Middle East policies.
Does his supporters need any more proof he blames America first? Ron Paul, should America ever defend itself?
He’s more than insane. He’s dangerous.
