“the only thing I would add is that the reaction of the Penn State community...alumni, current students, and especially, the people now in charge has been incredible. Too little, too quiet and too late. This brand is dead. “
not so.
Alumni are sickened, but are rallying around the school.

Maybe some. But recent articles about the alumni meetings with the PSU president says alums are still complaining that Joepa was fired - not about the pedo and the coverup, but about the firing of a football coach. It's cult-like behavior.

I'm sure you're right, but no one can see it. They should have come out IMMEDIATELY and said this is absolutely unforgivable and we will get to the bottom of this right now. The biggest noise that was heard was the demonstration in favor of Paterno (and child rape, I guess). And the outrage was slow in coming and never heard in many quarters. The worst example of crisis management in the history of college athletics.
Disgusting...the adults have yet to be heard from in central Pennsylvania.

Not the ones who just met in King of Prussia. They were demanding that Pedo state reinstate JoePa for next season.

Sorry no, there was an article posted here yesterday stating the uproar in the latest alumni meeting. It lead to the admin finally admitting that they never actually fired this dirty old man and he will retire with full benefits.
