Their is a rental house down the street with 2 or 3 families of Mexicans living in it. I saw a Health Dept. car there and was wondering if they were looking into the over crowding (living in the garage, etc.).

The next-door neighbor said “No - they just are there to see how things are going as they are on state assistance.”

I replied “Does state assistance cover the four nice SUV’s parked on the drive and lawn?” (1 is a Lexus, the other an Escalade, and the other two are newer Chevy’s I think).

In SC, four nice sport-utilities might in some parts of the state. Probably a big plus in NC.

Right now, the freeloaders in Pennsylvania are having a hissy fit because any car worth over $5000 will count toward their asset test and possibly disqualify them from food stamps under pending legislation.

I've been behind some30ish looking able bodied EBT card user on a number of occasions, seen them buy food I can't afford, then get into some late modeled car and drive off.

I'm working 60 hour weeks with a gimpy back and driving a 15 year old car with 200,000 miles on it and still paying taxes to subsidize these freeloaders.
