I have never heard of Glucose Tablets. I don't get light-headed. I get shakey and sort of angry...lol. Well, not angry, just “impatient.”
Shaky is how I used to get with the medicine that I was on earlier. But, I think that it is the level of sugar that you are used to having in your blood stream and when that is lower than what your body is use to you get shaky. Unfortunately, that level that your body is used to may be very unhealthy.
At least for me that’s the way that it was and sometimes still is. It’s a process that we need to go through to ween ourselves back to a ‘normal’ glucose level.

cranky ??? ;)
Signs leading me to believe you, as I am, are hypoglycemic.
Are you confirmed by blood test?
I have learned over the years and years with it that it’s pretty easy to control (other than other legitimate cranky moments ;).. just be sure to have a protein snack ..sliced turkey, hard boiled egg, chicken, cheese, beans and brown rice .. every 2-3 hrs or so. If that’s what’s happening, O, you WILL notice a big difference.... TRUST me and it’s really important .. ;) I’ve been dealing with it for years. I get bad headaches, too, if I’m not watching it, so I try to stay on top of it.
And, obviously, frequent sugar and starches are not good .. lifts and drops the blood sugar precipitously, which helps make us go a bit mental ...or moreso than normal ... LOL. A little now and then is ok, long as the protein stores are there to balance the sugar. Here’s a decent little treat: a little square of dark chocolate and a slice of cheddar ;).
