Now, BEFORE the game, please state WHAT sort of play, or game outcome, would be necessary for us to look at it and say “Yes, that really WAS a miracle!” and thus to recognize divine intervention as a fact in this case? Or would ANYTHING suffice?
It’s really just a case of, win or lose, Tebow having faith in God, his teammates, and himself and the chips fall where they may.
I say a prayer every morning as I go to work. Does that mean Im going to have a better day than everyone else in my office, or have less of a chance that some idiot at 4:30 in the morning is going to run a red light and T-bone me? Nope. Having a one-on-one speaking relationship with God is not like carrying some sort of Divine Rabbits Foot. But yet we Christians still pray and trust in Him, and maintain that open communication with our Heavenly Father. This is something the secular world will never understand.
