One way he could not finish his first “term” is if elections are suspended. At that point he would no longer be in a “term” even though his term would have finished in January when the new president would have been sworn in.

The Constitution is very specific: the Obama's term of office ends on Jan 20, 2012. If no successor has been elected, then the office devolves to the Speaker of the House.

Yes, the constitution is very specific. It is also very specific about eligibility, but, there he is...

Obama has been shredding the Constitution with increasing regularity. Boehner huffs and puffs, then devolves into tears and bends over. Why would you assume that someone in the GOP will suddenly stand up and demand that the President actually follow the laws of the land?

Remember Zelaya and his support of his refusal to step down?

In Russia, President Obama Explains His Support for Ousted President of Honduras

His calls for Mubarak to step down?

Guess who posted this in October ‘11? Wade Rathke:

“An International Dialogue in Egypt
“September 25, 2011 to September 30, 2011
“Our fall 2011 International Dialogue will be located in Egypt where we will meet with labor and community organizers and other activists in Cairo. There are exciting changes and developments that are currently taking place in Egypt with elections coming soon to determine leadership transitions in what has been an autocratic regime, now challenged by the Muslim Brotherhood and succession and democracy issues. The trip is still in the planning stages, and we will post updates as soon as we have them.
“We plan to travel with approximately 15-20 participants, and we will strive to have a mix of both community and labor organizers/leaders from a variety of community organizations and unions. We look for participants to meet in Cairo, pay their own travel and visa costs in addition to a program fee. The Organizers Forum will pay for food, lodging, and ground transportation. And, yes, though we are only planning to spend time in one city on this dialogue, we will see the Pyramids!

“If you are interested in applying to attend this dialogue, we invite you to apply by sending an email of interest to Wade Rathke chair@organizersforum.org Organizers’ Forum. Please respond as early as possible and certainly no later than July 1 because there are a limited number of spaces.”

Obama Calls Ben Ali a Dictator in the last State of the Union Address, Is Egypt Next ?

Remember, Ben Ali was Obama’s buddy before that:

Side: Tunisia – Refurbishment of Twelve SH-60F Multi-Mission Helicopters

WASHINGTON, July 2, 2010 – The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress June 30 of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Tunisia for the refurbishment of 12 SH-60F Multi-Mission Utility Helicopters, being provided as Excess Defense Articles, and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $282 million.

The Government of Tunisia has requested a possible sale for the refurbishment of twelve SH-60F Multi-Mission Utility Helicopters being provided as Excess Defense Articles (grant EDA notification is being submitted separately), 29 T700-GE-401C engines (24 installed and 5 spares), inspections, spare and repairs parts, support equipment, personnel training and training equipment, publications and technical data, U.S. Government and contractor engineering, technical and logistics support services, and other related elements of logistics support. The estimated cost is $282 million.

This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a friendly country that has been and continues to be an important force for economic and military progress in North Africa.

I remember Susan Rice lying her *ss off about arming Libyan ‘Rebels’, not to mention we had boots on the ground way before Obama’s ‘30 day/weeks’ Libya lie.

Assad and others being asked to step down as well.

I also remember his SOTU stating the US stands with Tunisia when this all started.

I remember what he did in Libya... without congressional approval.

I remember his silence on Iran... because we shouldn’t get involved in other countries ‘business’.

Did you miss how much money has been promised to the Middle East re: the Arab spring (caliphate)?

OK, i’m finished.
