The IP masking does work.

I only played with it for a few minutes, but there doesn’t seem to be much lag from using the proxy servers either.

I would not put too much faith in this though. I somehow doubt that no records are kept anywhere as to the originating IP.

Yes, I agree. The Feds would never allow that.

My local ISP just forced us to go through google for e-mail. Using the existing e-mail address, but through a gmail alias.

Not happy with that change. Called and told them. I know their techies, good guys. I know the reason they changed, administration cost and cost of the required record keeping. No pay off. It is a small but good, local coop telephone system. Very innovative and they give good service to some remote areas.

I am looking for another e-mail agent, but am not liking the choices I have found so far.
