The Democrats have been planning on running against Romney for quite some time. He’s a rich, white man who is Mormon; a big, easy target for Dems.
Newt just brought the subject out into the light ahead of schedule.

Actually, Romney is saying Bain = Solyndra. Bain = GM autobailouts.
He has said so in multiple interviews in the past several days.
