Political issues are a form of living scrabble. You can take it one direction and then take it a different direction and still win. Obama and the Democrats can use Obamacare to show that Romneycare was no different, so why bother voting for Romney because it would be the same voting for Obama. But Obama and the Democrats are still hoping that the Supreme Court upholds Obamacare. It gives them catastrophic control of the economy and boot on the neck control of the citizens. If it is upheld, Romney cannot condemn it because Obama can use it to neutralize Romney. Some issues have a multitude of applications depending on the spin of the particular party or party leaders.
You’re right, the Democrats are going to hit us from all sides, using multiple methods to discredit Republicans.
Chris Wallace mentioned on his show that there is an obsure rule that states that if a candidate wins or does well in all five caucuses, the candidate has the right to request that his name be put on the ballot at the convention and force a brokered convention. There are five caucus states this year.
The Democrats would love to keep this circular firing squad going through the convention.
