Here's a fascinating interview that Fox News' Greta van Sustern did on Wednesday night with former UN ambassador John Bolton. In the first part of the interview, Bolton endorses Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination, saying that Romney is the most conservative candidate who is capable of defeating Barack Hussein Obama. While I believe that Santorum and Gingrich are both better on Israel (and a whole bunch of other issues) than Romney, I can see Bolton's argument.

ET TU BOLTON !!!???
If he names John Bolton Sec of State. I’m good
I don't. There is no evidence in Mittens background where he has made strong foreign policy statements or put forth policy like Santorum or even Newt has. Milt is very weak on foreign policy. The only reason Bolton came out for Mittens is because he is a Liberal guy at heart.
Nope.
You think the hits Romney is taking now (which he is BADLY fumbling) is bad? JUST wait til the General. The MSM will utterly eviscerate him. And, he’s just a BAD candidate with a BAD record. It is that simple. He’ll get slaughtered in the General Election.
This thing is just getting started! Romney got the jump out of the gate but there are many months to go. The race is wide open!
The ONLY job Bolton will get out of this RINO move is head of security at Bain Vulture Capital after Willard goes down to defeat once again.
I watched the Bolton endorsement and it was presented in an intelligent and reasoned fashion. Maybe the real problem here is that when someone doesn't reach the same conclusions as you have reached you start calling them names and accuse them of having less love for America than do you.The squeaky wheels on this site have driven away any intelligent discourse. Your name calling and anti-Romney bias is more damaging to the conservative movement than Bolton's endorsement of Romney.

“Bolton is talking about running for president, and up until now it has been virtually impossible to find out anything concerning his views about the core moral questions of our day. That is no longer the case.
Townhall:
Reiterating a point he made to the Daily Caller, Bolton confirms hes willing to rankle some social conservatives by positioning himself to the Left of [Alleged] President Obama by explicitly voicing support for gay marriage. I think [same-sex marriage] is something that in society today, we ought to be able to live with, he says. I dont, however, think this is a matter to be adjudicated in federal courts. I dont think the Constitution speaks to the question at all. Its an issue that ought to be primarily decided at the state level, rather than being handed down by judicial edict.
He also makes really stupid remarks about abortion:
The question that Roe poses is not whether the Court was right or wrong on abortion; its whether it was right or wrong as a matter of Constitutional jurisprudence.”
Romney is the LEAST electable candidate we have. And I was saying that before the stuff about Bain started coming out. Declaring that any possible scrutiny of Bain is inherently anti-capitalistic seems to be working in the primary, but it won’t work in the general election.
And the hits keep coming.
Romney is the ‘don’t rock the boat’ candidate for the GOP establishment and elite. I consider Bolton in that camp, plus many others that we will be surprised to see fall in-line in due order. Unfortunately, ths game is almost over.
I don’t see any of the other candidates providing a convincing and commanding vision to the GOP electorate to sway them over to one single anti-Romney candidate. As it is, the anti-Romney vote is being split amongst Rick, Ron, and Newt.
I don’t see Paul dropping out, he’s on an ego trip and will take it all the way through. One of the other two will have to drop out within 2 weeks, and I don’t see that happening.
Bolton is what used to be known as a “Scoop Jackson” Democrat.
Oh you don't have to worry about who Romney appoints to any position. If Romney is the nominee, Obama is President.
FUJB....
I saw the interview last night. He continually referred to himself as a Conservative and the Mittens would best defend "our" Conservative views. Guess what, Bolton is Pro Abortion and socially liberal. Being for abortion is immediately a disqualifies as a Conservative.
Above all of that, Bolton give no specifics on why Mittens is somehow above the real Conservatives running other than his own perceived electability of Milt.
Mitt Romney is a lying sack of s#!t that can not be trusted on anything. He is also a loser. Look how many times he ran for office and failed.
A President Romney will ‘play ball’ with the GOP RINOS and RATS. It is definitely a bad scene for the worst of times.
The conservative movement should have an anti-Romney bias if it has any claim to be called conservative.
We're essentially running GHWB for president in 1980, absent a Reagan or Reagan-lite in the field.
