No but the article states that a size 6 is now considered a plus size. I am betting that some of the models we grew up with were a 4 or 6.

I met Kathy Ireland years back. She was always listed as the “short chubby model”, yet, she is tall and very thin. If you see her next to other models she does appear “thicker” than them. Models have always been very thin, and I don’t think they are any thinner.

I work with a woman that is built like a runway model and is a ballerina. She is 110 pounds and 5’8”. Very thin, yet, even she would look fat next to most models.
