You have obviously failed to see what this is really about. it also appears that you have not bothered to watch the video production. If you had you would have found that the layoffs were incidental; sort of collateral damage to the main purpose. Which was to take control of companies, saddle them with debt (essentially off loading the cost of the acquisition), strip their assets, then walk away leaving the banks, other non-insider investors, and the out-of-work ex employees holing the bag while Bain waltzes off with millions.

This cannot be defended, and isn’t in any sense an essential part of capitalism. It’s rather like a form of crime that the law hasn’t managed to keep up with.

In fact, I imagine that Bain employs an army of lawyers to make sure that the banks they have stiffed aren’t able to come after Bain for fraud and misrepresentation.

“you have not bothered to watch the video production”

You got me there. I don’t feel like wasting my time watching a political hit piece fashioned after Michael Moore’s form of “journalism”.

You’re wasting your time with this one. Of course she hasn’t watched two minutes of the video and doesn’t plan too. He or she is a good example of the 40% or so on this forum who will sit back and let Romney take the nomination, and then she’ll bitch about it....

Newt had a great day yesterday. I think definitely WE, yes WE got to Wind Bag Rush and Hannity because they softened up on Newt and both went after Romney esp for comparing what he did at Bain and what Obama did with GM and Chrysler. I still can’t believe the idiot said that, but he did.

Yep, that is definitely straight from your imagination. Think about it. If any bank had taken a hit like that, then the makers of the video would have offered the name of that bank up front and center. And after it happened the first time, no bank would have ever lent money to a Bain-controlled company again. Yet that's not what happened.

Bain Capital by definition is a capital investment company. They don't go to banks for funding. They are their own source of funding.

Romney has done so much to open himself up for criticism. There's no need to spread lies about him when there is so much truthful information available.
