Did anyone go after all the stolen money in Ken Lays Estate.
Change the law that allows executives to pay themselves enough to bankrupt a company. Have you seen anyone trying to pass a law limiting executive pay. Will you ever see such a law. NO, and NO.
But if you buy something it is yours, to do with as you wish. If you buy a company, close it down and sell it for scrap, it is your business. If you decide to blow up you new paid for Volt, as a prank, it your property.
King of Bain was made by Jason Killian Meath who writes for Breitbart and The Daily Caller. He also worked for Romney in 2008.
I’d actually like to see us nominate someone who can WIN in November.
Romney can’t win.
His big appeal was always his electability. That myth has now been utterly destroyed. The only question now is how big will the disaster be if the Republicans elites are not deterred from forcing his nomination. I happen to think that the devastation will be massive and the consequences dire.
I am very serious. I’m old, and for me, maybe there won’t be much change. But my kids and their kids will not grow up in the country I did. To me, that’s tragic. I’m not particularly kindly disposed toward the enablers of that tragedy in the making.
No question. Blow it up. Put thousands out of work. Put $100,000,000 in your pockets while shafting the banks and other investors. Go for it.
But don't expect me or many others to support your campaign for the Presidency. OK?
“Backfiring big time.”
Obviously, you’re from Mars as it’s not backfiring on this planet...
Someone said that this doesn’t go after Romney’s jugular, it just hits the capillaries...
Well, I’m for unraveling the sneaky bastar* one layer at a time, and this is a good start.
We should now ask for the guy’s tax returns, then we’llgo after his record as governor which is one of liberal judgeships, abortion etc.
Anyone think this is backfiring is naive and stupid and probably for Romney in the first place.
Isn’t it hypocritical with Ann Coulter writing column after column about the Clinton administration covering loans to Mexico and us covering the loses at Goldman SAchs etc etc.
Now we see that Romney had the playbook down pat.
Sounds too, that maybe at the beginning Bain went in as a Venture Capitalist, but seems like the easy money was to go in and pilfer.
Anyway, why not vette this now...?
Am enjoying your posts on this thread. Thank you.
What bothers me is that Romney and his cohrt go into a company and strip it of its wealth, firing people and forcing th compamny into bankruptcy.
Thus, the taxpayers throught the unempoloyment insurance program pick up the costs of the empkoyees and the companies that provided goods and services are stiffed by the bankruptcy; the pension costs are insured by the taxpayers as well.
So, how is this a model of capitaliam? Is it merely lootong and cost shifting. How is an economy built on that model?
Romney’s claims are legitmate fodder for debate. If he can’t take the heat now, he will be demolished by the Dems.
Obama can utterly destroy Romney in Debate No. 1 with just seven words:
“What’s the difference between you and me?
No one is disagreeing with what you’re saying...seems like BAin was in the business of doing more raiding, pillaging and banking in at the end at taxpayer’s expense.
You’re wasting your time with this one. Of course she hasn’t watched two minutes of the video and doesn’t plan too. He or she is a good example of the 40% or so on this forum who will sit back and let Romney take the nomination, and then she’ll bitch about it....
Newt had a great day yesterday. I think definitely WE, yes WE got to Wind Bag Rush and Hannity because they softened up on Newt and both went after Romney esp for comparing what he did at Bain and what Obama did with GM and Chrysler. I still can’t believe the idiot said that, but he did.
Like I said, you’re wasting your breath with this one.
Examine the first case study in Marianna, FL. Raytheon - not Bain Capital - was the company that came in and made all the changes. Bain Capital didn't come on to the scene until four years later. But you wouldn't know that by qatching this propaganda piece. When people learn that this video is all a bunch of BS, it will drive them towards Romney - not away from him. Stick with his record as Governor of Massachusetts, and leave the false smearing of his business successes alone.
Where did you hear that crap from?
Ditto.
It is surprising that it is being touted here on a supposedly conservative website.
I wouldn't exactly call it a 'conservative' website. Check out the name Win The Future, and think where you've heard that before.
I fill in information as I go along.
I’m going to take a wild guess and say, that if Bain was using tax-payer money for it’s raiding and pillaging, there’s a very good change that there may also have been someinsider trading, making many congress people mucho grando and indebted to Romney.
Romney might be buying the presidency without having used his own money to do so.
That may be what this is all about. Speculation on my part, but it would a pattern I see as to why Republicans are coming out of the woodwork to support Romney, when they should know better.

I call BS.
