Romney has been vetted as much as anyone can be vetted and this is all they can come up with . . . and some of us are surprised that so-called conservatives would fault him for getting rid of dead weight while trying to save a company - precisely what we would want him to do with the federal bureaucracy.

I love you, CW, and no one wanted Perry to be The One more than me, but I'm afraid he "vetted" himself right back to Austin. I'm still praying he works a miracle in South Carolina. Someone needs to tell him that destroying his business credibility by attacking Mitt this way, is not gonna do it.

I've only heard him make the case that he turned Texas into a business and opportunity dynamo in the same "inherited mess" Obama whines about, once. He desperately needs to pivot and drive that home. He can win with it.
