The video, which was posted on YouTube and other websites, shows four men in camouflage Marine combat uniforms urinating on the bodies of three dead Taliban.
One of them jokes: "Have a nice day, buddy." Another makes a lewd joke about a shower.
A copy of the video can be seen here
"While we have not yet verified the origin or authenticity of this video, the actions portrayed are not consistent with our core values and are not indicative of the character of the Marines in our Corps," the Marines said in a statement.
"This matter will be fully investigated."
Two U.S. military officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the video appeared to be authentic at first look but Reuters could not independently verify the video or its source.

You are revered for your service if you served your country well - Like killing our enemies and p!ssing on their graves.
You are not revered for bad-mouthing our men and women who put themselves in harms way to protect our freedoms. You are not revered for judging these men to be inappropriate when all they did was p!ss on their dead enemies.
Sign on dates do matter here. This is “America’s exclusive site for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty conservatives!” There is no other place like this. The people here share common values. Until you’ve been here long enough to prove that you share those values you are considered suspect. I’m a noob and have no problem being called one. It’s part of the deal, it’s the truth.
You are a DU Troll, IMHO. Anyone who reads your posting history can tell that you have come here to disrupt - not contribute.
These threads always bring out the hang-wringing "concern" trolls.
Seems we've got two on this thread.
All the best to ya, Patient Man!
All the best to you too! Maybe the trolls will enlighten us some more on this thread...

Your projection is both obvious and sad.
You were too stupid to realize that Willam is an alternate spelling of William. You got called out on it, now embarrassed, you are desperately trying to deflect.
I guess in your small mind, ignorance is the best comfort?
Then you must be very comfortable, William.
I mean Willam.
Can we just agree on Billy?
What you want is an echo chamber.
The reality is American soldiers are better than the enemy. Putting up examples of bad behavior by the enemy does not justify bad behavior by these soldiers.
In fact, professional American soldiers follow orders. GO-1 prohibits this type of behavior.
Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos had it right when he said that this behavior is “wholly inconsistent with the high standards of conduct and warrior ethos that we have demonstrated throughout our history.”
You would never hear George Washington or Robert E. Lee condoning such behavior. It’s beneath professional American soldiers. The fact that you don’t get that is quite telling.
The only mistake.
Fail. Libs always accuse others of what they themselves are doing - it’s a tried and true rule. What you libs want is an echo chamber. That’s why you come here, moths to a flame. You can’t stand that a place like this exists. You NEED to squash out any un-PC behavior you see. You can’t allow discussion that doesn’t fit your predefined version of what is acceptable. You want FR to be just like any other site where you can be comfortable spewing your liberal garbage. It’s not that place and it will be here long after you are gone.
Comparing Washington and Lee to the “leaders” we have today is an absolute joke. That you try to make any comparison at all proves that you are a naive little troll.
You are projecting, and you look really foolish doing it.
Time will tell
