A Muslim woman is suing the University of Bridgeport alleging the Connecticut university failed to investigate her claims that a fellow student sexually harassed her and instead retaliated by reporting her to the FBI based on a false claim by her harasser that she was a terrorist.
Balayla Ahmad filed the federal lawsuit Tuesday saying she was sexually harassed by a male student for months in 2009 and that university officials showed "deliberate indifference" to her repeated complaints. She says college officials recklessly disseminated false accusations by the harasser which they had good reason to believe were unreliable and threatened her with arrest by the FBI.
Ahmad says she was dismissed from the university. An email message was left Wednesday with a university spokeswoman.

No woman deserves to be sexually harassed but on the other hand, I'm not going to get too concerned about her, since her religion wants to kill all non muslims - a bit more serious than her getting her feelings hurt.
I would regard any muslim in our military as a potential Major Hassan, or that Sgt. in the 101st who fragged his own men in Iraq. No muslim will ever be my countryman. I’ll never trust one. Islam is the mortal enemy of western civilization, and has been for nearly fourteen centuries.
What smells fishy is that a Muslim woman would file sexual harassment charges at all. She hangs with the wrong crowd if she's looking for sexual deference.

My suspicion: she had a beef against the guy (possibly over his saying unkind things about Islam), and so fabricated false charges against him to get him kicked out. Possibly the school found enough holes in her story to decide that she was a liar, and thereupon ignored her. I would not be surprised to hear that she made some wild jihadi comments, which were passed along to the FBI.
And what was the harrassment? What, did he make eye contact with her or shake her hand?
