THAT was one of my first observations, too.
But then, maybe she is the wonderful child of a "Single Mom", as they're called.
We've lost touch with the reality of Family, tradional values, and decency.
OTOH; maybe the mother is not even sure WHO is the father (as in a lot of "single Mom" cases).
If they allow "Freedom of Expression" in the Yearbooks, how long before naked photos are LEGALLY REQUIRED (male AND female)?
In my humble opinion, the school shouldn’t have backed down. Every senior wanting to flip the bird, grab his crotch, etc... can say it was “freedom of expression”. The school should go back to the pictures with the cap and gown. That way, a rule is set and this type of “expression” would stop. IMHO

Seems I remember early on that reports said Mom was a lesbian, but that’s just my recollection......
As I read the original story, it wasn't the school administration, nor the Yearbook Supervisor, who made the call. The student yearbook staff rejected the picture because they were in an award competition, and didn't want that picture to go in the main body of the yearbook. IIRC, the option of including it in the advertizing section at the back of the yearbook was offered at the time. So, if anyone did an about-face, it was Sydney's mom, who decided to discontinue the street demonstration trying to embarrass the administration, and just pay the money.
Having said that, a FReeper on another thread asked the question, "This would go under 'Escort Services', right?"
The funny part is we live about 10-12 blocks from a high school in one direction, and about 8 blocks from a middle school in the other direction. And I KNOW the girls at the middle school are under age. They dress only slightly less sexy than the high school girls. I don't know if they are wearing extremely short skirts or shorts made to look like skirts, but I have NO idea how any teenage boy would keep his eyes off that.
There is a curve in the road near the high school that scares the crap out of me to drive down. Right as you come around it in one direction you get an immediate view of these young “ladies” sashaying down the street. Trying to fill their eyes with the young lasses, drivers will let their car drift completely into the other lane. If I have to take that route, I have one hand directly on the horn at all times.
I'm hopeful that these girls have something they wear over this stuff when they are in school, and uncover on their way home. I can't imagine a school were they walk around like that.
I suppose we just have to say, what can you expect of the child when her mother is crazy.
The school still should not have given in.
I see a great future in porn movies for the mother and daughter.

Her mother just came out of the closet as a Lesbian.
I wonder how hard it is for a young girl that looks hot, to have her mother come out as a lesbian. I would bet she will make an effort in and out of school to prove to the other kids that she is no Lesbian. I am sure plenty of guys will help her.

The godless elites want access to children legal, and they have to change worldview of children when their minds are “plastic” and condition and brainwash them in school and using MSM and when they are vulnerable to stupid ideas.—just like in the days of the fall of the Roman empire.
Fatherless families makes this brainwashing extremely easy since children are desperate for male attention—doesn’t matter how they get it.
I want to see an interview with this girl when she is 40. I want to know if she will then be ‘happy to do it all over again’.
She is setting herself up for trouble, IMO. She looks like she is ‘easy’ & many men will get that idea—whether it is correct or not.
All the publicity telling young girls NOT to post anything racy on the internet—this school yearbook isn’t any different, IMO.

How utterly heartbreaking this stuff is happening to our children and how sickening that these deviates and perverts have such power to change the moral codes of an entire nation. Despicable. Robbing them of their innocence. Christ said it would be better of a man have a millstone around his neck and thrown into the sea than to hurt on of the children. They may enjoy their deviance on earth but eternity is not going to be pleasant.
One article said that mom and daughter had put up a facebook page for people to support her efforts to put the picture in the yearbook; they were busy deleting all of the negative post.

If everyone would protect their children during the formative years and are careful whose ideas are allowed into their character formation, we wouldn’t have this problem. They have become lazy and allow strangers to do their most important job.
