Is this the "major defining speech" I have heard the networks describe all morning? The one Newt was supposed to start at 9:00 a.m.? Or is that supposed to be later in the day?
It wasn't described as a town hall meeting.

If Newt could pull close to 50% in this one, it would erase all the past disappointments and make him the unquestioned leader. SC is much more typical of the mainstream of American people and the travails of living under Obama Rule.

Every television station and radio station I listened to this morning had EXACTLY the same thing to say about Gingrich.
"He's getting nasty and his relentless attacks on Mitt Romney appear to be personal rather than about policy."
Oh, and did I mention that it was "very classy" of Ron Paul to stand up for Mitt Romney. Well, my television mentioned it. About fifty times this morning.
What power distributes the morning talking points and how do they get everybody from FoxNews, local news, NPR, CBS etc to all obey their command?
It's absolutely amazing and infuriating to watch.
