I don’t care about what little reliable info we get from it. I am not into waterboarding and think the US should be better than that.
And you are willing to see soldiers die - sometimes in large numbers - just to be “better than that”?
War is nasty. We didn’t pick this fight. The onus is on those who did - and continue to.
Two more points:
(1) How do you know it is “little” reliable info?
(2) The best way to make a war short is to fight it as brutally and effectively as possible, ultimately saving many of the other side’s soldiers lives too.
Your morality comes at a high price in blood - theirs and ours.
