"Tonight's results in New Hampshire show the race for 'conservative alternative' to Mitt Romney remains wide open. I skipped New Hampshire and aimed my campaign right at conservative South Carolina, where we've been campaigning hard and receiving an enthusiastic welcome. I believe being the only non-establishment outsider in the race, the proven fiscal and social conservative and proven job creator will win the day in South Carolina.
"South Carolina is the next stop. I have a head start here, and it's friendly territory for a Texas governor and veteran with solid outsider credentials, the nation's best record of job creation, and solid fiscal, social and Tea Party conservatism."
A silly response and I suspect you know that.
Yep, very reminiscent of the fuss made by the media and others about the “gaffes” and mispronunciations made by G.W. Bush. He went to serve 8 years in D.C.
Good to know that the people of SC are able to “look it up on the internet” about Governor Perry.
If they can read at third grade level, they will quickly see that “gardasil” never happened, because Perry heard his people on the issue, and that when it was first ordered it had an opt out. The very last thing it did was override parental objections. The opposite was true.
As far as Perry being pro Muslim, good luck with that.
Only the looney fringe think someone who is avowedly pro Christian and goes about witnessing and holding prayer meetings etc is going to foist the Muslim religion on us.
But no matter how he does in the SC voting, this might come as a shock to you but it won’t be because of either gardasil or the Muslim cannard.
“Strange, Perry came in 2nd on the FR poll just yesterday. Ill venture to say that 80% plus of the folks on FR wish you would drop out.”
That bears repeating!
But what if they read higher than the third grade level? What if they learn how difficult a process it was to opt out? What if they learn the parent/s couldn't simply say "no thank you?" What if they learn there was a burdensome process involved in opting out?
uhmmmm?
