I heard Rush today and I don’t disagree with him often but he was most certainly wrong today. Rush is not in the ball park with Newt on this. When the hell is it wrong to criticize a snake oil salesman like Romney! Look at all the lies Romney has been spouting. When he does tell the truth it is nothing of value. Rush: Your wife must be affecting your judgement or maybe your “Two If By Tea” has turned into “Two If By Koolaide”.

Rush is right on this one and Newt has chosen the wrong issue on which to go after Romney.

Newt sounds like a Democrat selling his brand of populism with his class warfare.

Newt is doing the RATS job for them. If Newt can't find a legitimate issue on which to go after Romney then he needs to stop helping RATS.

Since when is it wrong for a company to make a profit?

I have to agree with you. If Newt plays populist dirty to take down Romney, more power to him and I pray for his success. And for once, I agree also with lm: Rush did more damage to Newt than he did to Romney.

I'll even up the ante: I WELL remember Romney supporters' MO from '07-08, when they flat-out LIED about so-called "endorsements" and "support" from pundits. They WILL spin this high and low as Rush "supporting" Romney.

Rush really blew it today. I understand his thinking and I even sympathize, but when it comes to Romney, Rush totally underestimates both his own influence and vulnerability.

I think Rush is intimidated by Romney; I think he's got a bit of an inferiority complex going, and Rush is SO FAR SUPERIOR to Romney that it's laughable. But when it comes to Romney, Rush inexplicably and mistakenly observes Marquess of Queensberry Rules. I remember when he often took McCain OUT TO THE WOODSHED, gloves off. OH HOW I WISH HE WOULD TO THE SAME TO ROMNEY.
