This past New Years eve my wife and I boarded the Amtrak train in Grand Junction, CO for Denver, CO. We've driven this route, back & forth, many times over the years on I-70 ... taking the train is a whole different experience. Anyway, we are seated with another couple in the dining car for lunch. Turns out this guy is a professor at a very well known mid-west university, a university that has turned out many NFL greats. This guy was everything you would expect of a college professor, he was a dweebie liberal in every sense. The conversation turned to football, as the reason for our train trip to Denver was to attend the Bronco/KC Chiefs game ... this guy went off on Tebow big time. Thought it was all hype ... told him he should check with players he claimed to know (from his school) currently playing with the Broncos. They would, without doubt, confirm Tebow's sincerity.
In fairness to this individual he said he would keep an open mind ... he just wasn't buying the hype.
