Uh, he beat Mitt. Outright. He got more votes and more delegates.
NEWT split the ballot, preventing Santorum from picking up more delegates.

A Newt -Rick ticket would seal the deal for most of us in the primaries...and would tank Romney....
Newty is more nationally electable than Rick...

Santorum is playing spoiler to ensure Romney nomination. shame, but thats where we are at.
Exactly. As his polling trajectory continues to stymie and begins to dive, watch little Ricky play increasingly nice with Romney so he can hopefully cash in on a VP spot.

Santorum is playing spoiler to ensure Romney nomination. Let's hope he gets wise and stands down soon....not to mention Paul out there screeching and wailing still...and Perry needs to go as well...these guys need to fold their cards and sooner rather than much later.....however...there are still plays to be made in order not to let the cats out of the bag too soon...and time to do so.

Romney won Iowa, just like he will win New Hampshire.
Two nothing little states, neither of which are Republican states and both have OPEN primaries.

Not good, Romney did win Iowa (a very pathetic win, but still). If he wins NH, wins or places close second in SC, and wins Florida, the media will go with the “he already won” narrative and it will be too late to stop a Romney victory followed by 4 more years of Obama.

True, but keep this in mind: Whomever is the Republican Nominee will have to win at least 1 of the following states to win the General Election (assuming the GOP wins FL, OH, VA, NC, and IN - which gets them to 266 EV’s)
NH (Northeast), MI/WI/IA (Midwest), or NV/CO/NM (Southwest)
So as bad as they may be in determining Nominees, they are still important battleground states come the General Elections.

Newt was far ahead of Santorum...come on ..that’s no secret. We know Romney’s attack adds undercut Newt and what jetted Santorum ahead.
The public is as fickle as they come...they are in the game as well and most haven’t a clue how the game is played...they simply “pick” their favorite player and that can change on a dime depending at what the media score might be.
We know you’re for Santorum...and obvious I’m for Newt all the way to the Whitehouse....so we will disagree.

" When you look at the graph you can clearly see that Santorum has already peaked and is on the way down, and that Newt is starting to surge again. "
I thought the Newt and Perry supporters were saying that polls don't matter.... opps, I forgot, it doesn't matter when either Newt or Perry was down in the polls, but now, since it looks like Newt got a bounce in a few polls, not polls matter.... right, I got it...

the media will go with the he already won narrative and it will be too late to stop a Romney victory followed by 4 more years of Obama. They're already doing that....pundits continue to attach their comments of Romney being the Primary winner their comments..it's sickening and an affront to every American.....our war is with the media as well, who is bent at determining the winner.

We have to get to the nomination first, when the Marxist is the enemy.
GOP primaries should be closed to Republican voters. That would eliminate a slew of the Ron Paul voters and a whole lot of Romney’s support.

Go ahead—vote for the thug whose goons roughed up Santorum’s wife and kids last night.
You might as well vote foe Obama.

If Romney wins everything through Floria, its basically over and we can all go home. Only strategy we will be speaking about is how much gauze we stuff up our nose before pulling the lever for Mittens.

The polls only guage the moment or projection of the moment IMO...it’s like race horses around a track and what lap they’re in. That’s the excitement of the Primaries..and for that matter the Pres. Election. But it can be frustrating when ones “Horse” falls behind....fingernail biting is common for all then.

" Rick SOPA Santorum can go peddle his collectivist big government social conservative agenda elsewhere. "
Show us the link were we can go to, or him actually saying this instead of one news website/paper writer saying it, and you parroting it around here.
Newt said in his own words on Meet the Press on May 16 , 2011 that he supports ObamaCare's individual mandates, and a few days later had to clarify it.... flip flopper ?
Which one is the real Newt ? is he for ? or against Individual mandates in Obamacare ?
Sorry, I don't trust Newt.... Newt Gingrich is a progressive who alines himself with the likes of Nancy Pelosi and gives into the Global Warming Hoax...
Even Rush Limbaugh is saying that Newt is saying the same things as what the left is saying..
