All this with a 3-5 year investment horizon, which ignores the long-term viability of a company and seeks to streamline (read fire as many as possible) operations as quickly as possible in the goal of maximizing short-term returns.And so what? It's just part of business. I'm no fan of Mitt, but this isn't one of the reasons I won't be voting for him.

Except when you realize that this business is the sole support for Romney's claim that he knows Business and is the best candidate to turn the economy based on this type of experience.
When you look at that claim and factor in the information in this article, then it's real clear that Romney's so-called reputation at being a great businessman with the necessary experience and expertise to fix our economy is a flat-out like, like most everything else about Romney.
