I agree totally with what he said as I read it in context but I also realize that it was a huge blunder for Romney. In this upside down, bassackwards remnant of what used to be the USA it only matters what someone can claim he said. I don’t support Romney and I won’t weep for him when he is pounded over the head with this as if he really meant that he derives pleasure from putting people out of a job.
In a merit based system, putting people out of a job and others into it, is fundamental. It is the statists that believe in full employment regardless of merit.
