I don’t know if Calvin Broadus (I refuse to use stupid aliases) has a real problem or not but medical pot can be a godsend to people failed by traditional pain management approaches. I have an aunt who was born with bone defects who as a result of a lifetimes worth of surgeries and metal bone replacements is in chronic pain. While she was taking all the perscription drugs she suffered a multitude of unpleasant side effects including loss of apetite, tremors, naseau, ect. Now she has a perscription for medical pot and all the pain killer side effects have subsided. Oh, and pot makes her much less dopey than high dosages of vicotin.

The war on drugs is big business, to big to fail.
