This aircraft is not intended to replace the A-10. As has been pointed out in previous threads, it is being obtained as a COIN platform for the Afghanis and other “allies”.
“Gen. Deptula is the CEO of MAV6 LLC and serves as a member of the advisory board of the Sierra Nevada Corporation.”
So what this says is that Deptula is actually NOT an impartial expert and DOES actually stand to gain financially from the Tucano being awarded this contract.
So this article should matter to anyone....why????
