I don’t know, but I am expecting at least one of these guys to drop out after South Carolina or Florida, then I think we grassroots conservatives should coalesce around the leading non-Romney conservative soon after. Gingrich, Perry or Santorum are all infinitely better than Obama, Romney or Paul. And it’s probably the only way we’re going to successfully block Romney and the establishment RINOs. I like Gingrich, but I’m not married to him. If Perry or Santorum come out on top, I’ll be happy and will pull for the leading Romney/Paul killer whoever he may be. If we can keep Romney from gaining more than one third of the vote, we should have a pretty good chance of defeating him. NO ROMNEY!! NO PAUL!! NOBAMA!!

I think we're going to have to move up the timetable. After Florida will be too late. I'm afraid after S Carolina might be too late.

How about after the final poll the end of next week before the primary of 21 January. That puts that primary on a Saturday, but I'm seeing that date from a couple of sources.

The conservative leader of that poll gets annointed the "conservative alternative to Romney."
