Florida: Mitt-36, Newt-24, Santorum-16

South Carolina: Mitt-30, Newt-23, Santorum-19

Santorum’s bounce out of Iowa has already peaked and started to fade in N.H..

It’s pretty clear what’s going on here.

Bush 43's bounce didn't fade after Iowa in 2000. Clinton didn't win either Iowa or NH in '92. Hillary came in 3rd in Iowa 4 years ago, then won NH and NV before getting dusted in SC. There are plenty of other historical examples.

I don't really think you can look at one state and divine the outcome in the next.

Yes, it is clear and I wish he would get out and make room for Newt who can beat Mittens.
