So you want the four conservatives in NH to decide...
OK smart ass throw in South Carolina. But the field needs to be winnowed down before the big delegate states start voting. The conservative candidates remaining need to come to some understanding that whoever does best goes up against Romney, and the rest endorse the winner. And they need to do it before the big delegate count states show up. Florida is the first big count state and that limits the choices.

Florida is not that big, as far as delegates go. They tossed away half their delegates by moving up. Yes, it is the first of the big electoral vote states and was the decider in 2008. South Carolina voters, and to a lesser extent, those in Florida, will likely react badly to having their choices limited too much.
