Interestingly, Samsung also showed a 55" OLED panel, and even Sony showed what they call a Crystal LED panel with 6 million LED's. As such, by the end of 2012 we'll see flat panels--despite their steep price!--with beyond-plasma black levels, extremely low power consumption, and screen refresh rates measured in the thousands of hertz.
