Union Leader ^ | Jan 8, 2012 | BILL O'BRIEN

Posted on 01/08/2012 10:00:03 AM PST by NoPrisoners

Using the measure of positive accomplishments, only one candidate this year has achieved the meaningful, conservative change in Washington that we need. That candidate is the only one whose past performance will ensure the conservative, free market, pro-liberty solutions that will save our country and return us to prosperity. That candidate is Newt Gingrich.

Hear, hear! All true. Hopefully this bumps Newt to 2nd in NH.

Fourth place or lower in NH is not where ANY conservative can afford going into SC, the decider state.

Almost hate to say it...but...agreed. Newt is the only one with a broad vision of where we need to go. That is...he is the only one on the Right with such a vision.

We’ve seen Obama’s vision...and it’s the wrong road. Romney will be Obama lite...it will just take longer to get to socialism.

Newt can and does say nutty things...but I don’t see any other option.

Nope. A-moral RINO who I wouldn’t trust with a bubble pipe.

IMHO Newt was the only one on that stage that made headway. But he always does seem to get a bump post "debate".

I must respectfully disagree. Mittens is a RINO and I see few similarities between him and Newt. As far as amoral, I think we all have done dumb, stupid, and/or amoral things at some point in our lives. I'm not looking for a saint to occupy the WH, but rather someone with the experience and stones to get the job done.

Bill O’Brien is Speaker of the House in NH. Just thought that little tidbit would be of interest to folks.

I thought this was the BEST moment of the debate:

Newt slams media for ignoring anti-Christian bigotry

All I know is when all of this so called debating is over and we go to vote we have to make sure Mitt Romney does not win..Newt will be the one that will show Obama the door leading out to the helicopter to take Obama and Queen Michelle back to hell..

I really do like Rick Santorum but wonder if he is up to the task of telling Obama to go to hell..

Looking forward to this!

Agreed. At times last night he had that deer-in-headlights look. Although, if he is our nominee I will vote for him.

Anyone but Obama, Romney, or Paul!

Thanks for that link, and BTTT! Missed the debate last night working the entertainment scene. I don’t see how anyone can watch all six of these candidates together and not conclude Newt is the best leader for our cause.

Agreed. Folks need to remember we're not electing someone to sainthood, but as leader of the Free World. That takes being tough, knowledgeable, and determined...NOT having perfectly coiffed hair and a perma-smile.
