At least 16.4 million firearms were sold in America in 2011, although there is not a one-to-one correlation between background checks and the number of guns sold because some customers buy multiple firearms, and some of the checks involve people reclaiming a firearm they previously had pawned.

I got to think it's not even close. Those gun forum classified ads sure don't last long.

Some people do not understand that the tea party is not about news media attention and million man rallies. That is how it launched (I was there) and it was an exciting time. But like college, it doesn't die. The Tea Party was about awakening, education, a recommitment to fiscal values, etc. your education does not die just because you graduate. What you learned is internalized. Look at the gun sales! Look at the Santorum vote in Iowa. The polls are what the media thinks... But the actions we see is the result of the (internalized education) if the Tea Party.

The media would rather we march and make sound bytes. But the revolution has happened. People are not going to accept fiscal irresponsibility anymore. Just sit back and watch... The Tea Party didn't die, it is alive and well at the grass roots level ... Just watch.
