Don't get me wrong. I also like Santorum and Perry. But I believe Newt shocked the entire establishment with his direct challenge to our black-robed rulers. And he is 100% correct on this. The activist judiciary IS the problem. And has been for two hundred years. They are NOT the final arbiters of the constitution. All three branches are co-equal and they are all charged with preserving the constitution. The powers of government are enumerated and distributed to the three branches and all else is reserved to the states and we the people. We are the sovereigns and the final arbiters.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,

--That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Don't let them ever forget it.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
