A north suburban woman who publicly accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment agreed Friday shell leave the townhome from which her landlord is evicting her.
Sharon Bialek said after the hearing at the county courthouse in Skokie that she hopes her life then might return to some kind of normalcy. She told Judge Thaddeus S. Machnik shell move out of the house on Admiral Court by March 2nd.
The 50-year-old single mother of a 13-year-old was being sued for back rent totaling about $7,500. Shell return to court on Jan. 13 to finalize the deal with her landlord, Tatiana Sharnova. Sharnovas attorney could not be reached for comment.
Bialek came forward on Nov. 7 to accuse Cain of sexual impropriety at work, the fourth woman to accuse the Republican presidential candidate, but the first to give her full name and show her face.
Cains campaign accused her of fabricating a story for money, pointing to her troubled financial past that included two bankruptcies and to cash settlements two other accusers had received.
Within weeks, a Georgia woman said Cain had been having an affair with her for the past 13 years, unbeknownst to his wife, Gloria, and on Dec. 3rd, Cain suspended his bid for the GOP nomination. He continues to deny any impropriety.
Bialek said she met Cain in 1997 in Washington, D.C., while he was CEO of the National Restaurant Association. She wanted to talk to him about landing her a job.
She said after they had dinner, they were sitting in his parked vehicle when Cain reached his hand under her skirt and then pushed her head toward his crotch. When she objected, she said Cain asked her whether or not she wanted a job.
Bialek said Friday she watched Cain deny the allegations against the other women, and felt angry that he was lying, she said. I know because he did it to me, she said. He still wont admit the truth.
She considered what the publicity would mean to her son, a seventh-grader, and decided to go ahead with the press conference in New York, guided by famed attorney Gloria Allred.
She insists she has not profited from her story. If anything, she fears her sudden publicity has spooked potential employers. If she really had been out for money, she said, shed have paid the back rent to keep her son in a stable home or at least been able to hire an attorney to fight eviction.
Bialek is looking for a new home that will keep her son in his same school, and continues to look for work. The former marketing executive and registered Republican would love to reinvent herself to find a job in womens advocacy. Id rather help people than line somebodys pockets with money, she said.
Looks like there was no book to be written, what a shame, karma comes quick to some...
Sounds like you’ve had a “Play Misty for Me” ordeal also.
you forgot to leave out freeper women when you said most are crazy.....but there are quite a few nutzy ones out there. My son keeps marrying them...:O(
Ain’t sheddin’ no tears for this lyin’ ... thing!
It's very difficult to be a landlord in Cook County. The deck is stacked in the renter's favor.
You would think the book offerings would be coming in?
And you keep ignoring the evidence that the accusations were baseless, and that the accusers weren’t credible.
That makes me wonder about your motivation.
Do you care about the truth?
Or are you trying to help the media spread the lies?
Even Ann Coulter said the accusations were utterly unbelievable.

And the Former Chairman of Board of NRA tried to get the truth out to the media, but they werent interested.

He said that the woman who claimed that Herman Cain had felt her up, had hit on this guy the very first day he was on the job. [Sharon Bialek] And he said that she had left the company before he even hired Herman Cain.
So there was proof that Herman Cain was innocent, but the media buried the truth.
Remember Herman Cain kept saying he didnt even know the woman?
Fast forward to the 12:30 min mark on the audio at the link above.
I am really shocked by this. Didn’t she and Gloria Allred and anonymous others have a financial deal in place for Sharon to come forward? Did the big money people throw Sharon under the bus once they had used her and were done with her??
What the heck????
In her story, she didn’t say she met Herman Cain until after she lost her job, so that’s not inconsistent.
I have a hard time disbelieving any of these sex accusations. It’s human nature. So very many people who are NOT politicians cheat early and cheat often, so if anything is surprising, it’s that we don’t hear more about it happening with politicians. Bill Clinton, JFK, Mark Sanford, Larry Craig, Nikki Haley, Mark Foley, Herman Cain, Anthony Weiner...I can remember very few sex accusations that didn’t sound believable, very few denials that sounded credible, and fewer still that were actually proven to be false.
Most men and a lot of women who have the ability to cheat and get away with it will cheat. It is not a dealbreaker to me as to whether or not I will support a politician. Giving into basic human nature in a way that doesn’t physically harm anyone is forgivable. But it has to be in their past to be forgivable, not ongoing. If Herman Cain would own up to it and repent then I think he could successfully rehabilitate himself for a presidential run next time. One thing I do know is that no candidate is electable while new accusations like that are rolling out.
“Does this mean that Sharon Bialek didnt get any money slipped in under the table for her role in bringing down Herman Cain?”
I guess so. I’d be madder than hell at Romney, Perry, or the Dems (whichever one was doing this crap) - so much work and humiliation, and NOTHING to show for it.
You got the wrong woman! The woman you are thinking about is Ginger White. If your going to throw mud get the mud pies right.
Todd - you must have no lesbian friends. Love’m - my wife first of all - but women can certainly do crazy all on their own.
Thanks for the laugh. Quite clever and very funny
It figures this writer would get it wrong. Her complaint had nothing to do with work. She's the one who contacted him, at the urging of her old boyfriend, to see if Cain would help her get a job.

Dear Ms. Fitzpatrick:
The only impropriety that occurred at work is your failure to fact check your article. You mistakenly stated: "Bialeck came forward on Nov. 7 to accuse Cain of sexual impropriety at work." If anything occurred between Cain & Bialeck, it didn't happen at the workplace. She wasn't even employed at the time she claims he harassed her. She had in fact contacted Cain at the urging of her then-boyfriend, to request Cain's help in finding a job. It would be nice if you publicly corrected your false statement, but I won't hold my breath waiting.
I'm sure Gloria AllRed is representing her in her little rent dispute.
It’s ok, she’s got another house lined up with money in an undisclosed account. She is a democrat whore like the rest
Actually Herman Cain ended his run and I was still supporting him when he did.
