Meanwhile, the accommodation of deviancy in our culture has the effect of destroying that culture sooner or later....
But the "deviants" are so self-preoccupied that they don't even care. They want to "feel good about themselves," and compel other people to "feel good" about them, too. They'd take down the entire social order to achieve this result.
No wonder our society seems so "insane" these days....
