For Mark Steyn pink list.
Once again, a great conservative thinker proves without intending to that conservatives are truly the compassionate and the brilliant, the liberals, mere shells of caring whose depth is revealed to be a puddle pretending to be an ocean.
Great column.
The Current FReepathon Pays For The Current Quarters Expenses?
Its branches are too long
It grows and grows and grows and grows
But its muscles aren't too strong
Brilliant piece.
It breaks my heart that Santorum’s wife cried upon hearing Colmes’ remark. Just when does the brutality towards the family of Republican candidates end?
One of my vivid memories as a child is my grandmother talking about her baby who only lived an hour after birth. She would tear up and describe the baby girl’s pretty red hair. She was never thought to be a particularly warm or maternal-type of mother but I’ll never forget her tragic face when she would reminisce...
The Democrats hate Santorum for the same reason they hate Palin: they refused to kill their babies. That choice is like a dagger of conviction aimed at their cold, black hearts. The Left are nothing but walking dead souls.
Very moving piece by Steyn.
“It breaks my heart that Santorums wife cried upon hearing Colmes remark.”
Me too. That lady had already suffered the loss of a beloved baby. And to be mocked about it is outrageous!
...even more outrageous that Colmes is still employed by FOX...
On the money! Imus was fired for a lot less and then he had to kiss racist Sharpton’s but for forgiveness.
The left never had any empathy to begin with.
When I was 10 years old, my 15-day-old sister died. I was at school, Friday afternoon, when I was called to the principal’s office and told that my sister was very sick and I was going to spend the weekend with some family friends. When I was taken back home, I remember running to the bedroom to see her... there was no crib, no baby stuff... My mom explained then that she had died, and was already buried. I cried a lot, and always resented that I was not allowed to see her one more time. She was taken away from me and even now, I am crying as I type. I can talk about other deaths in the family, but if I try to tell about my baby sister I fall apart. Thanks be to God that has promised me I will see her again one day, across Jordan!
Mark Steyn ping.
Freepmail me, if you want on or off the Mark Steyn ping list.
Thanks for the ping passionfruit
Exactly. Feeling agreeably toward those who are just like you isn't empathy ... it's narcissism. Of course Zero "empathizes" with those who want to kill unborn babies: he wants to kill, too. Of course he "empathizes" with those who want to have anal sex with other men: he's got the same urges. The leftist mind thinks everyone else should be exactly like himself, and is infuriated by those who are not.
This is a very personal issue with me and I hesitate to even comment on it, but here goes.
My wife and I, after 2 years of marriage, were eagerly awaiting the birth of our first child. She was born and everything seemed to be going well.
After she was born, I received a call after going home to sleep. I raced back to the hospital where I was told she had contracted B Strep and was in a very bad way.
She was a le to live for 2 days, days that I remember in hooro as I watched the life slowly drain from her.
She dies in her mothers arms, surrounded by family and friends.
A curse on Colmbs.
Literally.
This vile little metrosexual is dead to me.
To paraphrase a politician; Have you no shame sir?
Screw Alan Colmbs.
No cheers this time,
