Unfortunately, our Thug Culture has become an export to the rest of the world, so the poison is becoming a world-wide phenomenon, even in places like the Indies.
Funny how some people were burning school busses in Boston in '74 to keep their kids from going to school with 'those people', but forced it on areas further south in the '60s ('67-'68 where I grew up).
They knew then and should know now, only it isn't politically correct to talk about it. The standards of behaviour have been lowered across the board as a result.
