Much like the Herman Cain “agreement” vs “settlement”, the average Joe will not understand, or care. I don’t think Newt can win this, and threats will backfire and make him look vindictive and whiny.
I believe Newt is helping Romney more than hurting him. Folks here in FL are starting to think he is on a personal vedetta. Newt’s votes are going to go to Perry or Samtorum. Worse yet undecideds will go to Romney just to get this atrocity over with.
Right now many are just on the Anyone But Obama Bus. Low ratings I suspect for Sat/Sun debates. Folks are getting worn out with the process.
