Baier reported this as a journalist should which is to lay out the issues in a nonjudgmental fashion. This is actually a first, in the case of Fox News, IIRC.

Fox has never once previously allowed even a suggestion that Obama’s BC might be a fake! Corsi was mocked on Fox when his BC book came out.

IMO, Baier’s report is a fantastic development. The Democrats could have substituted Hillary if Obama were successfully exposed in 2011, but now it is too late for another candidate to be substituted and win...especially if it takes at least two or three months to unseat Obama after court ordered discovery forces him to resign and take a pardon from President Biden!

So true! B O’Reilly pooh-poohed the birthers many times by saying that Obama’s BC had been provided. Lost any little bit of credibility I had for him up to that point! I also lost respect for his researchers. They should be researching the NBC aspects of Obama.

The fact that the person Obama says was his father was a British citizen violates the Constitutional requirement for candidates for POTUS to be NATURAL born citizens.

Bret read this off of the teleprompter, he didn't "report" anything. The producer (probably) wrote the script. He's only off the 'prompter when there is panel discussion.

Then why didn't Bret, or the person who has actually been writing his script, do that from the outset?

court-ordered discovery

The "Missing Link" of the entire eligibility issue. The purported "Birth Certificates" merely indicate that the claimed biological father was not an American Citizen.

Some brave soul needs to remove him from a state ballot on the grounds that since his claimed father was not a citizen, Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen. Then, and only then is there some chance that the issue finds its way into an American Court, with Obama as the PLAINTIFF seeking a ruling, not a DEFENDANT, seeking to have the case dismissed.
