The money is gone. It was spent. The politicians spent it. They left IOU’s.
Just because someone robs you doesn’t mean you get to eat your neighbor’s food.
So if its not too presumptuous for me to ask and Im not trying to be offensive or call you out personally, but have you ever held a job and had SS and Medicare deductions taken out of your paycheck? Are you and or your husband retired and now collecting SS benefits?
Why are you so passionate about collecting SS benefits when you yourself may have never contributed yourself?
You are also very active in soliciting donations to FR (not that Im complaining ;)). But I presume that in doing so, you also make contributions yourself and that would indicate to me that you have at least some disposable income and arent exactly sitting in a cold dark house eating Alpo.
So why should I as a younger and still working person, some 15 years or more from my own retirement, be expected to supplement your retirement with my contributions? How exactly is that not an entitlement in your opinion?
Have a nice evening.
